Information we handle

Most of the site can be used without giving us your name, email address, or an account. Depending on what you use, the site may handle:

• finished Photobooth images and limited editor metadata when you save or create a share link;
• website usage, browser, device, approximate location, and interaction data through Google Analytics;
• browser storage used for preferences, game progress, and leaderboard identity; and
• connection and request information processed by our hosting provider for delivery, security, error logging, and abuse prevention.

If you call, email, message, or visit the shop, we may receive the information you choose to provide through that separate conversation.

How the Photobooth works

Editing and the original photo

Your browser reads the source photo you select and performs the decoration and rendering work on your device. The Photobooth application does not intentionally upload or store the unedited source file.

Saving or creating a share link

When you select Save Image or Create Share Link, your browser creates a finished 1200-by-1200 PNG and sends that finished image to Udderly's server. We store the finished image, a random share identifier, creation time, file size and hash, plus limited technical details such as whether you saved or shared, whether the source came from upload or camera, viewport dimensions, decoration count and categories, sprinkle and badge selections, and photo zoom.

Public share links

A Photobooth share link is public to anyone who has it. A visitor with the link can view or download the finished image without signing in. Do not use the Photobooth for confidential or sensitive images, and share links only with people you trust.

Rate limiting

To prevent abuse, the Photobooth uses a hashed connection identifier to enforce an hourly save limit. Our hosting provider may also process IP addresses and request logs as part of normal hosting and security operations.

Udderly Guest Book

The Guest Book requires only a city and state or ZIP, which becomes a rounded city-level public pin. A name, visit date, message, photo, and public travel-card link are optional; a blank name is shown as “Anonymous guest.”

We do not request a street address or precise device location. Postal-code searches are converted to a city-level result, public coordinates are rounded, and uploaded public photos are decoded and re-created as WebP files to remove EXIF and GPS metadata. Public entries are reviewed before they appear.

The server issues a random HttpOnly browser cookie and stores only its SHA-256 hash to enforce one hometown submission per browser. Short-lived request controls also use hashed identifiers without retaining the raw cookie or IP address. These values are used only for abuse prevention and are not sent to analytics. Public share pages use unguessable identifiers and remain excluded from search engines until approved.

Analytics, cookies, and browser storage

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and feature usage. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and collect information including page interactions, approximate location, browser, device, and operating system. Google handles that information under its own Privacy Policy.

The site also uses local browser storage to remember choices such as whether Moolicious is hidden, a game high score, and a game leaderboard player identifier. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser, although doing so may reset those preferences and scores.

How we use information

• provide and maintain the website, Photobooth, game, and share links;
• download the finished image you asked to save;
• measure site performance and understand which features are useful;
• troubleshoot, protect against abuse, enforce limits, and improve quality; and
• comply with law and protect the rights, safety, and security of visitors, Udderly, and others.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use a finished Photobooth image in advertising without separate permission.

When information is shared

We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate the website, such as our web host and analytics provider; when required by law or legal process; to protect people, the site, or our rights; or as part of a business transfer. Vendors may process information only as permitted by their agreements and applicable law.

Finished images are also disclosed through the public share link you choose to create or distribute.

Retention and deletion

Finished Photobooth images and their related metadata may remain available while needed to provide the save and sharing features, support quality and security, or meet legal obligations. Share links are not promised to be permanent, and we may remove images at any time.

To request deletion of a finished image, email udderlydeliciousatl@gmail.com with the complete share link, or call (712) 249-4615. We will use the link's random identifier to locate the image and make reasonable efforts to remove it. Analytics and hosting records may follow separate retention settings.

Children's privacy

This is a general-audience local restaurant website. Children under 13 should not operate the Photobooth's save or sharing features on their own. A parent or legal guardian must handle any upload, save, or share involving a child and confirm they have permission from everyone shown. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 through the Photobooth. If you believe a child submitted an image without appropriate adult involvement, contact us with the share link so we can remove it.

Security and external links

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect stored information, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. This site links to services such as Facebook, Google Maps, and Google Analytics. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Your choices

• Do not save or create a share link if you do not want the finished image sent to Udderly's server.
• Clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
• Use Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where supported.
• Ask us to delete a shared Photobooth image by sending the complete share link.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date.
